Order

You can order using the web shop, or by emailing to info@bioglow.eu. We ship to all countries in Europe. Email us for more information about business orders or if you are interested in larger volumes. All listed prices are in euros and are exempt from VAT (i.e., 0% sales tax).

Shipping costs

The shipping costs are listed in the table below and are automatically calculated based on your address and the items in your cart. The algae can't survive in the dark for too long, so we use express shipping for orders that contain live algae and regular shipping for orders that don't contain living algae. Your order will be shipped using the company PostNL or UPS, depending on your location.

Shipping to Service Point for pickup

For most countries you will be able to ship your order to a Service Point, allowing you to pick up the package at a time that is suitable for you. During checkout, you will be able to choose this shipping method and then you can select a specific Service Point from a map. If the map doesn't contain any pickup points, then this service is unfortunately not (yet) available for your country.

Timing of shipping

The algae are living organisms and shipping can be pretty stressful to them. For this reason your order will generally be shipped at the beginning of the week, so they won't have to spend the weekend at the post office. The algae don't cope well with high or low temperatures, so if the weather is too hot or cold it may be necessary to delay your shipment for a few days. Of course we will keep you updated on this. Payment

You can choose from several secure payment methods: credit card (MasterCard, VISA, etc), PayPal, or directly via your bank (iDeal, Bancontact of Sofort). You can also do a bank/wire transfer into our Dutch bank account (IBAN). Your order will be shipped once the money has arrived into the bank account. There are no payment costs.

Guarantees

We guarantee that the algae will reach you alive and well. Occasionally it happens that they die during shipment, for example if it has been too warm or cold. If you think that the algae arrived dead, then contact us within 7 days after you received the shipment. After confirmation we will send you a new batch for free, or we will make it right some other way. For countries outside the EU: we make every effort to facilitate a smooth border crossing, but note that the guarantee above does not apply if there was a delay at the border for any reason.

Please note that since the algae are living organisms, you cannot send the algae back for a refund if you change your mind after your purchase.
